I actually liked Jon Stewart. I think he should do it again.

Considering that his movies have grossed more then any other actor in Hollywood that would be smart. People obviously like him a lot.

He's not really a popular film actor, but having seen some amazing diversity and performance capabilities, I would LOVE to see Brent Spiner host the awards. He's got the ability to sing, dance, be funny.... he just isn't that publicly well know unfortunately.

Source? A quick search shows he's not even in the top 5 for starring roles. If you count movies he's simply BEEN in (like the Star Wars prequels, which is sort of silly), then maybe he's up there.

I'm talking about the movies he's been in not about him making the most money. As I can recall his movies that he has been in have grossed over some ridiculous amount of billions of dollars.

Right, so even bit parts like the Star Wars prequels. You're right, he's #1.

For starring roles, #1 surprised me -- Eddie Murphy. Jackson is #9. His per movie average, though is pretty bad. He makes up for it with the ridiculous number of movies he's appeared in.

Exactly why he shouldn't be doing it.

I thought Hugh was pretty damn good. I had no idea he had that kinda range in his acting ability.

It woulda been funny though if he pulled out the claws !!

He won a Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway musical hit The Boy From Oz, where he portrayed the Australian songwriter and performer Peter Allen. The next year he hosted the Tony's and won an Emmy for his hosting duties.

Yeah, which is why he'd make the best choice IMO.

I think Margret Cho would be good too. I like her comedy. Plus it's about time we had a minority be the host for once.
