Default 'Bruce Almighty' from UK... Region ABC?

I live in Canada, I came across a thread here where it's claimed that 'Bruce Almighty' is region ABC meaning it's playable here. However, every online store I went to list it as Region 2.

So, can anyone confirm that 'Bruce Almighty' from UK is playable on Blu-ray players in North America? If that's the case, then I will order it.

My copy just arrived today. It's from Touchstone (Buena Vista) and is labelled as Regions A, B and C on the back. Touchstone also released Starship Troopers here, which I believe plays fine on US players, so I expect Bruce Almighty will also be fine on US players, though I can't test it myself as I only have a UK player.

Seeing that Universal logo on a Blu-Ray disc is so sweet. Maybe someone can email Craig Kornblau that piccy, just to piss him off, or maybe he will agree that it looks just as sweet to him, as it does to us.

Can you verify Starship Troopers with a scan?

Woo hoo!!!

The BDA has a rule about catalogue titles having to be region free (and new releases can't be manufactured with region coding 12 months after release). But, of course, contracts and guarantees might force them to break the rule occasionally.

So Brits and Europeans: What's the cheapest place to buy this that ships to North America?

These people seem pretty competitive - £1.60 postage to USA or Canada plus £17.89 for the BD:
http://www.sendit.com/video/item/7001000135877

Still going to cost around 40 USD which I understand is expensive by USA standards, but most of our BDs here are that sort of price.

That's wrong because Region A covers also countries from DVD Regions 2, 3 and 4.
