PS3 Issue with FFWDing - Blu-ray Forum

Good day,

Crazy question about my PS3 slim... when FFWDing on a disk that is DTS-MA, if I FFWD at 120x for 5 to 10 seconds the press the play button I loose the picture for a couple seconds. It's almost like the Player has to catch up or something. Not sure if it's the player or the HDMI. Has anyone had this problem?

I have a buddy that works at EB Games. We swapped out the system to try to see if another PS3 slim is doing the same when fast forwarding. Sure enough it does but only does it when bitstreaming to a receiver. Doesn't do it when PCM. Has anyone else had the issue when bitstreaming, fast forwarding or rewinding they loose the picture for a few seconds.
