Default Problem with my BD60 / Onkyo 607?

I am having an issue with my BD60. I have my HDMI connection set to 720p as my TV does not support 1080p. Well, every now and then when I turn it off and turn it back on later, it seems to reset itself to Auto and I have to plug a composite cable in to reset it back to 720p. Is anyone else having this issue?

The player is plugged into my Onkyo 607 then I have a HDMI to DVI cable going from the output to my TV. Could the player be resetting to Auto because it is sensing that my 607 can do 1080p? If that is the issue, is there anyway to lock the output of my 607 to 720p or 1080i?

on page 83 of the onkyo user manual, it discusses the video resolutions output by the hdmi connection.

I would set it to "through", or you might give "720p" a try?

Obviously this is a receiver fix, and your problem may only be bd player related...so this might not be your best answer...just more options to what you havent already tried.
