I have a close female friend, strictly platonic but my gf hates it everytime she visits.
My gf is jealous of the friendship I have with her, but she does trust me fortunately so she's accepted it, still doesn't like it though.

I figure it'll always be like that, human nature I guess.

the wife used to when she was my girlfriend. but i told her i'd have to break up with her if she was just going to be a drama queen. she calmed down and is now friends with al these women she once thought were trying to steal me away or some such craziness. she used to get upset when i'd give them a hug. that's how bad it was. but now she's better. or at least she appears to be

I have absolutely no need or want for female friends. Been there, done that.

Sure, there's women I occasionally talk to when I run into them, but we don't go out or anything like that. It would definitely cause problems with my marriage.

My wife is my female friend. She's the same way when it comes to male friends. We respect each other's feelings. If I want to go out to dinner, the movies, etc. I will go with my wife.

I agree there, but I dont 'date' the female friends, they come over to our house, etc(with my wife here) BIG difference. No one on one dates, that would be unacceptable in any marriage

I work pretty closely with a female, and last week she made me seafood pasta out of the blue.

I told my wife tryin to get her wound up but she just laughed. We've been together since we were 14, so that's 23 yrs. Needless to say we don't have trust issues.

My 5 and 8 yr old daughters didn't like it one bit though!

So your female friends are also friends of your wife? If that's the case, that should be okay... not much conflict there.

Sounds like you guys have communication & trust issues, not good dude.

My best advice is to just to tell her how you feel about it, I'm not an expert but being able to communicate each other and trust each other are like the most important staples to having a healthy relationship.
I just said to my gf (been together +2 years now) that I absolutely hated that she didn't trust me, absolutely hated it.
Fortunately she listened, it worked because I was flat out honest to her, that usually helps.

Not sure it's "more" but I do have quite a few female friends...... Doesn't cause a problem with my wife, because they're just friends....

No but yea, I knew these gals before I knew my wife. Its not like they are exes or anything like that, just chicks i met along the way who had BF's at the time and we maintained contact through the years.

I have a couple female friends from work that I talk about from time to time and my wife gets super jealous that I am talking about them. There was one time if she asked me if I had feelings for either one of them which I don't cause I am married to my wife but sometimes she just gets jealous. Female nature I guess??

My best friend is my wife, that is my only female friend. Sure I suppose you could say I am friends with some of my buddies wifes or gf but I would not go anywhere with them alone. When I go out to dinner or movies with a girl, it's with my wife

there is the old school train of thought where once you're married you can no longer have female friends because its some sort of boundary that's crossed. for me it depends on the friend. there are some that i don't really want to hang out with alone not because of some fear of infidelity but just because they're not good enough of a friend to do hang out with alone. i have gone to a couple art showings with a female friend of mine sans the wife (who could care less about art). to me it just depends on the friend. plus i have to know them well enough to ensure they aren't going to do anything. and i'm not really cool with them stopping by my house alone no matter how good of a friend they are. not really sure if that's even an answer.

To quote Master Betty from Kung Pow; "I do like the ladies!" I have a lot more lady friends than guy friends. My guy friends and I just go after the ladies. We'd sweet talk them and stuff and then brag about it. But, not anymore for me though.
