Default Recent Movies you Streamed Via Netflix

I thought this would be a fun thread, so those with Netflix could find good films that currently available to stream without searching all over Netflix to find them...... Just read over the last couple dozen posts or so, and the movies mentioned will likely still be available to stream....... Great for finding some good mindless entertainment, or to view hidden gems you may have missed.

So... with that said, I recently watched "World's Greatest Dad" with Robin Williams..... it's a pretty solid Dark Comedy..... very dark... but moments of hysterical dialogue thrown in the mix. It's a dysfunctional Father/Son relationship...... I recommend it for a viewing.

Also watched "Trailer Park Boys" the movie...... wasn't aware of it before, and it's a great comedy.... highly recommended.

Also recently watched Lisa Lampanelli: Dirty Girl: No Protection, good if you like very crude comedy (like I do) it's classic Lisa Lampanelli stand-up..... Only recommended if you like raw, offensive comedy!

Step Brothers - funny in some parts, but only okay overall.

Demolition Man - very entertaining.

Shrink
The Third Man
Outsourced(Pretty funny!)
Chocolate
Matrix Reloaded

Also, the Daniel Tosh standup. He does pretty decent stuff and pulls no punches.

Netflix doesn't really seem to HAVE many good movies for rental, except for what "real" movies StarzPlay puts on demand every month, and whatever streaming-on-demands are already available from other websites. (And even those have limited shelf lives, as another two just dropped off my queue today.)
Mostly a lot of indies and direct-video horror, that need the exposure, and don't have to worry about a lot of third parties with their hand out, like the major studio movies do....Pretty much the ones that need all the viewers they can get, and not all of them do.

That said, most of Classic Criterion (already available from their website) seems to be available--for those who'd rather watch Seven Samurai or Beauty & the Beast for free instead of buying and asking --History Channel Online, and a good number of BBCAmerica titles. (I personally recommend Terry Jones: Medieval Lives, In Search of Shakespeare and some of the Dickens adaptations.)
The Beeb-A (also by way of their website) used to also helpfully put up Doctor Who:Classic in addition to that gay obnoxious new one, for those who'd like to broaden their classic pop-IQ with no commitment

I'll check out Daniel Tosh.... never heard of him before.....

Was "Outsourced" the one about the guy who goes to India to do efficiency training at a call center???? I watched that one.... the wife and I liked it.

There was another "very odd" movie I watched called "Absurdistan" or something like that..... about a little village where the water pipe supplying the village broke, so the women withheld sex until the men fixed it...... very quirky, but it's been a LONG time, so may not be available anymore

Louis C.K. And The Ghost and The Darkness.

I'm real pissed Netflix and HBO don't have a better agreement. I'd love to be able to stream shows like Rome, The Sopranos, and Entourage, as well as plenty others. That'd be HUGE for Netflix.

Big Fan.

It was pretty good. I never thought I'd see Patton Oswalt in such a good role.

Just movies or documentaries and TV too? I don't know what you've seen already, so I'll just start spewing.

HD Movies:
Breaker Morant
It Happened One Night
The Right Stuff
The Awful Truth
The Big Picture
Carlito's Way
The Front
A Man for All Seasons (better than it looks)
The Razor's Edge

Non-movies:
Top Gear
Doug Stanhope: No Refunds
Gallipoli (documentary, not the movie)
The Trials of Henry Kissinger
Trumbo
Frontline (any of them)

Don't know which '99 Godzilla you mean, as "Godzilla 2000" isn't up there--
But if you want "GMK: All-out Attack", "Tokyo:SOS", "vs. Destroya", or "Final Wars", they're available.*

(Now, if only one of those movies had a funny Greek name in it...)

----
* - Mostly by way of Sony, for those who've been frustrated trying to bring up Crackle.com on their PS3 web browser--
Because most of Netflix's streaming movies were already coded by other websites, most all of Crackle's Sony/Columbia movies are on permanent rotation at NS, including "Ghostbusters", "Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip", the "Karate Kid"'s, "And Now For Something Completely Different", and "The Last Dragon". Nice to have all the downloads in one place.

World's Greatest Dad had a really strong beginning. After that it seemed to fall off a lot in terms of the writing even though it still had an interesting story.

I would have probably never seen "Not Quite Hollywood" (a documentary on how Australia gave us "Mad Max") if not for NS, and yeah, there's a wild movie to watch for free on late nights.

In between, I've found a good supply of Pink Panther cartoons, for in-between movie comfort snacks.
