Default UGH! Receiver keeps shutting off!
I can't even express how frustrated I am with this HK Receiver!
I bought an Harmon Kardon AVR-254 refurb off of their Ebay store about two months ago. Got everything set up. 5.1 Polk surround speakers and LG BD270 Bluray player. HDMI for hookup. Worked great for a few weeks, then all of a sudden it started to shutoff while watching blurays. The time it takes to happen varies from 5 to 20 minutes. I checked to make sure the latest firmware was on the machine and it was. Got HK to take it back and they sent another one. Replacement is hooked up and IT HAPPENED AGAIN during the first movie we tried to watch! I just don't get it! Not happening while watching cable, just while watching movies. It just shuts off and goes into standby. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?! I'm wondering if it's the bluray player, since it's not happening while watching cable.
