hey, I'm new to blu ray. Got a Playstation 3 last month for the games, ended up loving blu ray. So far i've got

- Black Hawk Down
- Casino Royale
- Donnie Brasco
- 300
- Blazing Saddles
- Layer Cake

What other films would you recommend?

Basically, get the films you like. I bought MI3 the other day, and am probably going to see it tonight. How about Pirates of the Caribbean or Spiderman (Out next month)?

Last Samurai, Pirates of the Caribbean. I am not sure what is out in the UK though, but a lot of releases are region free. You can get a list at www.blu-raystats.com

The Rock

They did an excellent job with this movie. A vast imporvement from the standard dvd release, with lossless audio added! The chase scene down the san francisco hill when he's in the lamborghini looked awesome. Didnt think the color yellow could look so good!
