Default about to buy a dvd

For the first time since going Blu, there is a set on DVD only that i have been waiting far to long on not to buy and that is the young indiana jones dvd set. It will feel weird walking into the store and walking by the blu display and the dud display to the regular DVD section. It's been a while since i've been to that section. I'll let you guys know how it is.

I still buy regular DVDs ... mostly older TV shows that I doubt will get to Blu anytime soon and I'm afraid could fade away altogether if I don't get them now.

Not likely. The reason why we now see TV shows on DVD in such great numbers is because studios know the demand is high and rising.

Family Guy was cancelled because it was rude, crude, crass and low brow. In some attempt to squeeze more juice out of this "lemon" they saw just how popular the show really was.

There is a market for any TV show on video. Some just larger than others. HDM is still so young right now that it will take time.

I have to get the Oswald shorts from Disney when they come out in December, and I've told Santa Wife I'd really like the 28-disc complete Twilight Zone collection...but my entertainment budget is pretty much greenbacks-for-Blus these days.

well i did it, it felt odd buying a regular dvd but like others have said its best to get somethings now that probably won't ever see life on blu. And an old t.v. show that paramount has the rights to i don't see coming out on blu anytime soon.

Exactly the same thing I do......I doubt that the Munsters or Batman, or the Three Stooges will ever be out on Blu or HD.
