Hi! I own a Samsung BD-P1400 and installed the latest firmware update (version 1.2) via ethernet line when it was first released. I then bought a new movie and was having playback issues with it, so I installed an older firmware version (1.1) by CD; I heard that you have a better chance of correcting firmware issues by using the CD method, and I didn't have firmware version 1.2 on CD at the time, as I don't have the recommended software to burn my own copy. The disc playback problem was not fixed, so again I upgraded to firmware version 1.2 via ethernet line. Is there a chance I could harm my player by installing an older firmware version and then re-installing a new one? Sorry if this is a basic question, but I'd greatly appreciate any helpful information. Thanks!
