7.1 Speaker System - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if these speakers are good? they are $300 - Onkyo SKS HT 540. I'm looking for 7.1 speakers, i already have the receiver my price range is $300-$400.

Typically, speakers in this range sound good at low volume. Crank them up, and they either sound terrible or your receiver will fry them.

What kind of receiver do you have?

I recently purchased these and hooked them up a couple days ago. Couldn't be happier!!! If you're on a budget, these are the speakers for you.

EDIT: I got them for $230 and free shipping at vanns.com
