Not quite, you can control music playback via the PSP, but with remote play you can basically have everything on your PSP thats on your PS3 wherever you are in the world using WiFi.

You can use it for streaming live music and video that you saved from the PS3 Harddrive, and not for DVD & Blu-Ray. The only game will work is PSone Disc & Download, few PSN demo & full version and Lairs PS3 BD. You can also surf on the internet, view friends, send/receive PM and turn on/off the PS3 machine.

Unless you are huge star wars fan then skip that bundle. the daxter bundle comes w/ a game too, but also has the family guy movie and a 1 gig pro duo. Or if you can wait in June the god of war bundle is coming. It is a red psp w/ the god of war game and super bad the movie plus a downloadable game. (forget which one) This is the bundle I am waiting for. I am finally going to jump on the psp wagon in June. Just wish it came w/ the pro duo card instead of the downloadable game

i have a question about remote play, does it have to be connected to your isp? or can you use what ever connection is around to connect to your ps3? i tried using mine at a friends house but it did not work( to far i guess) and i tried his but it has a network key that he forgot.

Yeah. You can use any connection. Be shure to forward the ports (found on the online user manual i think). Thats only if it doesnt work... Chances are, it will work by default.

I agree, PSP as a remote would be pretty sweet. Especially for us Euros with playTV coming soon
