What setting for the PS3 to output into 605? - Blu-ray Forum

OK i know its LPCM. But what type of khz or mhz? Or whatever there is should i set it on?

I haven't changed those settings and I always get the audio I want...something I will have to go into the menu of the movie to get the new audio formats but I have changed the ones in the PS3 menu...

just select auto. it will do it for you.

there have been some insances of "Automatic" not working for some receivers...you may have to manually select.

The 605 is capable of up to 192kHz all 7.1 channels. (so you can check everything)

Crackinhedz do you have a PS3? Also what is the best 192 at least for my reciever?

yes I have a PS3 and a Pioneer Elite.

The Onkyo 605 should check all the choices.

OK thats good to hear as auto isnt that best to put it on? At leeast that i hear.
