Technical incompatibilities imo.
I notice alot of people complaining about the lack of extras even to the current day. So i'm wondering if its technical incompatibilities with certain players thats putting off studios filling the disc with goodies. Or alternatively it might be the staff with the technical know how too much in demand giving precedence to only the biggest movies. I watched both Kill Bill's last night and thoroughly enjoyed them. However, the extras had each of the actors sitting in a chair talking then I would watch about 2 or 3 minutes of footage I'd just watched in the movie. That is absolutely ridiculous and adds nothing to the disc at all imo. There was nothing about the stunts, the wire play, the anime.. Geez, I could go on all day. Studios still need to do more. Or at least throw a few excuses our way. |
