Best Dipole Speaker Placement ??? - Blu-ray Forum

I made this diagram because my apt has a weird set-up and its not possible to place the speakers on the side wall or rear. They have to hang from the ceiling from speaker brackets. From the diagram below, what do you think is the best placement?

Dipole Speakers: Position 1
Bipole Speakers: Position 2
Rear Speakers in 7.1 setup: Position 3

But its going to look butt if I have to staple wire to the ceilings. Sucks.

I attached some of my surround speakers to the ceiling with hollow wall hooks and chains like a plant.
