Default Panasonic issues with LFE!!!

I recently discovered that the Panny is somehow lowering LFE output when sent PCM(This applies when decoding standard Dolby/DTS to PCM.. I cant confirm if this is happening on TruHD or LPCM tracks... but my guess would be yes)

You need a copy of DVE(not Avia) an SPL meter and using HDMI.
1)Set Panny standard Dolby Digital to bitstream.
2)Run the speaker level program on DVE and calibrate speakers and sub.
3)Copy down results(set them all to 70 for this test)
4)Go back to Panny menu and set standard Dolby Digital to PCM.
5)Run DVE again and copy down results.

Did anything change???? If my theory(and others are correct), than the sub should now be about 6 decibels lower while sending it PCM. The problem is things shouldn't have changed.
If anyone is interested, please post your results including what receiver your using(I tested a Denon 3806 and Panasonic XR700).
This is important!!!! As we get more and more PCM and TruHD tracks, we will be sending most of our audio via PCM and not Bitstream. If we are lucky we might get one last firmware fix out of Panasonic before they abandon this model and I would like to see this included.

****note****
-This applies to analogs also, but will be difficult to test. You would have to have an Optical cable to receive Bitstream(There will also be level differences in all the speakers to take into consideration also).
-Reason why you cant use Avia is it sends the bass to your speakers and your receiver uses its bass management which will flaw this test(DVE sends the bass channel straight to the sub).
-If you dont have DVE but do have an SPL meter, I believe the speaker channel test on a THX movie sends the bass straight to the sub(not 100% sure). This is the test that sends noise to all the speakers.... NOT the frequency sweep test where the sound moves from your mains to your sub.
-Finally, if your so broke from buying all this Blu ray stuff and you have neither an Spl meter or DVE, pop in "Lord of the Rings" and goto the scene where the Bellrock leaps up from the flames and begins walking. Listen to his footsteps and switch back and forth between PCM and Bitstream. You can even set DTS to Bitstream and Dolby to PCM(or vice versa), and then just switch the audio tracks(DTS and Dolby Digital on extended edition). Did you notice a difference in the power of his steps? I guarantee the PCM one will not be the stronger one.
Thanks....
