Sin City info in Pretty Woman blu-ray! - Blu-ray Forum

Just bought Pretty Woman blu-ray today and inside there is an offer when purchasing the coming up Sin City blu-ray! there is a artwork that says not final yet. Also, on the promotions inside there are scenes of Sin City and it says coming soon to Blu-Ray along with The Sixth Sense. After seeing those previews of Sin City I am definitely exceited it's coming to blu-ray!

When I saw the thread, I thought you had received a copy of Sin City in the Pretty Woman package, instead of Pretty Woman.

That would be a bonus for me, because it would have to been a complete accident to have picked up Pretty Woman.

I have to say the PQ on Pretty Woman sucks.... it's my worst blu yet... It wasnt the grain, which looks decent, but somehow the image is soft, even Edward Scissorhands from the same times looks better.

About the post yea, sorry for the confusion. I was just so excited to see the previews with Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson, Sin City looks made for blu!

Stick with it, it looked better on SDTV..... since I loved the transfers on Basic Instinct and Edward Siccorhands I was expecting something similiar in Pretty Woman, but it seems like the actors are outlined with this soft halo.. or something. Or somehow the video looks forced to be stretched and thats why it is not so clear. Pretty Woman has excellent color and should have looked glossier for most of the parts that involves the Hotel etc. This time I agree with the review of blu-ray.com!

If you really were a fan of the film, you would see that the upgrade is actually quite nice. The material they have to work with is terrible to begin with.

Wait, you're saying the DVD of Pretty Woman looks better than the Blu-ray? And you're also saying you agree with Blu-ray.com, which gave the picture 4/5?

this has to be one of the strangest marketing tie-ins I've ever read. I guess technically both Sin City and Pretty Woman involve sexy hookers, but other than that I dunno. Seems like they should fire someone in marketing, cause I bet the Pretty Woman audience isn't there target market for Sin City.
