Ok i know this has been asked but i cant find it.
i have a Panasonic HDC-HS9 full HD cam corder. it records in the MTS format. im trying to make HD videos to play back on my blu ray play but they all come out looking worsh than VHS or no better that my DVDs i have im using POWERPRODUCER and POWERDIRECTOR for my software. PC is a AMD PHENOM x4 9550 quad core with 6gig ram. and a buffalo bd-16fbs-bk serial ata blu-ray 6x burner and Sony BD-R ver. 1.2 disk. so my question is why do my moves come out looking like crap? any halp is good help |

Isn't MTS basically the same format used on Blu-ray (M2TS) just with a different extension (and usually used for AVCHD camcorders)?
If that is the case, just use tsMuxeR or any other muxing tool to multiplex the file into a correct Blu-ray structure ready for burning. |

i assume u put the content onto disc and playing first things first when u record /shoot u need to shoot in highest HD mode second thing try hook ur camcorder to tv and check the quality then please stay away from those kind of softwares if i were u i download the raw content to harddrive in the computer and try to muxer into the bluray format tsmuxer is good and free program multiavchd is another one if u compress and burn it to disc there's no point of having HD comcorder ...just a thought have fun with it peace |

ok sorry for the CAPS i was frustraded from wasting so many disk
ok i realy like all the help and i like the MultiAVCHD program works well but here is what im getting now on play back of my tv, see the shadows around the text well i get that around everything when played back on th e tv im using a sony BDP-s300 and a 61" JVC projector LCD TV when played back on my PC it looks great im recording in HA1920x1080x24p on my panasonic HDC-HS9 i have these record modes HA1920 can record 24P HG1920 can record 24P HX1920 HE1440 and any clue on how to convert these to dvd |
