Default What size Power Conditioner?

Looking over my equipment in my signature, what size power conditioner do you think I should go with? The MFW-15 would not be running off of it because it has it's own outlet on the other side of the room.

Get the APC H15. It's on sale for $150 at AVS I believe.

Here is a link to APC power conditioners. They are all on sale and work great.

You should take a look at a few of the Panamax models. M5400-PM, the one that I'll be getting here shortly, has 5 isolated filters AND voltage regulation. $699

Yeah I was looking at that one. You can find them on eBay for like half that.

Steering away from APC I think because they look extremely cheap and that don't match my equipment. Any of the Panamax ones would look superb with the rest of my gear.

If you want to waste your money, be my guest. That APC H15 conditioner is highly rated and has voltage regulation. A while back, it was selling for $400. A black model is also available. It is slightly more expensive.

I already had a Monster power conditioner that I had bought several years ago over $500. I recently bought the APC H15 as I had many additional components. I couldn't be happier. It is a very heavy and solid unit. Amazon is currently selling them over $350.

I am not going to bad mouth the Panamax, but the APC can easily match the performance of the Panamax at substantially lower price. Don't ever judge the quality of any equipment by its price.

I agree with you, Big Daddy about the build quality of the APC line conditioners, but for heaven's sake...it's hideous. The plus side of the Monster and Panamax lines is that they have at least some aesthetic appeal. Spending the extra money in my situation is worth it to give my set up some swagger.

Look at the Furman Elite 15DMi($499) & Elite 15i($380) in addition to the Panamax units.

I'd rate the APC H15 up there with Furman, Panamax & Monster. It's built like a tank. I'm using a Furman Elite 20PFi($1099) on my living room gear & a Panamax M5400-PM($699) on my bedroom gear. I recently purchased a silver APC H15 from Audioholics.com for $149 shipped, for use with some older gear being put back in service in another room. For $149 I could care less if it were colored pink, purple or green as long as it works. The only thing I wish the APC H15 had, is ethernet protection. You'd have to move up to APC's J series to get that.
After seeing the build quality & value of the APC products, I've decided that any future battery back-ups/power conditioner purchases will be APC. (I find aesthetics of the APC H15 more appealing than my Furman Elite 20PFi or Panamax M5400-PM, especially the LCD display. Just my opinion.)
