connect your PC to the LCD, and run JScreenFix: "Launch JScreenFix"

...not guaranteed to work, but that's what its designed for.

ive fixed a few stuck pixels by taking a micro fiber cloth, carefully placing it over the area of the stuck pixel, and very gently pushing down with the eraser end of a pencil.

i can vouch for this program. it fixed one pixel, didn't do anything for another. definitely worth a shot.

It should have a 2 year warranty too. Has that expired? If all else fails see what Samsung will do. I have heard good and bad about their CSRs. I havent had any trouble with them personally.

Computer to HDTV...

UDPix - Undead Pixel 2.2

Might convince it to start working.

If none of those tricks work for you(I hope they do) , has it been 30 days for sure ? Where did you buy it from? Best Buy gives You 30 days , silver 45 days & so on so you could still trade it out if this is the case?

I just took the time to check for you on this and Amazon is indeed an authorized internet dealer for Samsung. Doesn't this mean they have to stand behind their warranty? I'd call back and talk with someone else.

You have to be kidding ME!!! Samsung F-ing sucks! This is why I would not touch a Sammy product with a 10' pole. Damn this pisses me off, this OP has had the very nice very pricy HDTV for a little over a month a Sammy won't fix it! I had nothing bad to say about Samsung in this thread till I got this info! This is why people who have been burned by Samsung try to stir people in other directions...Call Samsung back & demand that the fix the TV!

I don't think they fix dead pixals inless there X amount in a small section of the tv. I could be wrong.

Are you gonna update us on your progress regarding the return? We gave you advice, the least you could do is update us. It may help Samsung owners in the future when it comes to dealing with these sorts of issues.

You're right. One or two dead or stuck pixels is not a defect in their eyes. I believe my sammy manual even says so. My first sammy had a blue line across the top. About 100 dead pixels in a line. I brought it back to Sam's after 3 months and they exhanged it with no questions asked.

I don't think I could bring myself to ordering a big ticket item like a tv from any internet site. Good luck dude.
