Default Help, stuck pixel on my Plasma TV!

Well, after having my Pioneer Kuro 600m for a couple months I just noticed a flashing green pixel on my screen (post break in). I'd like to ask others that have had this problem on their plasma how they dealt with it. Will it eventually unstick? Any tricks to unsticking it, I read a bit about LCD pixels and how to unstick them, would this apply to a plasma? I really don't want to go through the hassle of returning it if I can unstick it, especially since I've read Pioneer isn't exactly responsive to customers complaining about single dead/stuck pixel issues. Thanks in advance

I'm gonna try to run Cars blu-ray on 2x speed and see if that does anything.

A screen with a lot of static seems to help with this problem.

As in electrical static? How would one go about increasing your screen's static?

my real name is Kal-El, his real name is Clark Kent.

My user name is Actually Kryp TRON not Krypton. It's a geeky mix between Krypton and Cybertron. Two of my fav comic book/fictional planets. I think the name Krypton was already taken when i registered.

To stay on topic, let us know if the JFixscreen fixes your pixel problem.

I've read somewhere that the Pixar movie, Cars, can help with stuck pixels. Personally, I have never tried it.

Yeah, if it is still in warranty I would check out the possibilities of getting it serviced. Where did you buy it from? I have a 600M also, I'm hoping I won't have to deal with a stuck pixel down the road, although I was watching Cops on saturday and I noticed a white pixel on the right side of the screen which would not go away. I changed the channel and it was gone but when I turned it back to Cops it was there again , I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the show versus being a problem with my TV.

It was the show/HD camera and not your TV. Sometimes when watching television I'll notice a dead pixel or two, then the director switches to a different camera angle and all is well. Switch back to the first camera, dead pixels in same spot. Happens every now and then, so no worries.
