Hello all, I am a long-time reader of this forum, but I wanted to post this heads up to anyone that might be affected. After downloading and installing the latest update, my standard dvd's looked great; however, when I tried to watch "Dead Man's Chest," my TV did not recognize the signal. I became very worried, so I called the PS3 support line. They gave me a quick fix. For my particular TV (Samsung LNS4095D) required that the "24p" setting be turned "Off" instead of on "Automatic." Anyway, thought I would share that. The first place I came when I was staring at a blue screen when it was supposed to be a blu-ray movie.
