Default Cartoons that deserve 'Big Screen' Treatment

Simple question for you.

What cartoons deserve a live action remake and can they do as well as comic book films?

I would love to see Ulysse 31 as it has a great story, lost in space, gods fighting mortals and a cool robot.

I'm all for it as long as it's NOT Michael Bay. I don't think he can actually tell a good story. He just blows things up and spins around it with the camera.

If you're gonna head down that path, Freakazoid! would be a far better choice.

And it'd play off the whole super hero thing Hollywood is so hung up on.

It'll never happen though.

Well its perfect then. Most cartoon dont have any real story anyway. It just very basic stuff unless youre talking Japanese Animation like Captain Harlock that have a overly complex and f**** up in the head story the rest is just basic stuff. Even truer with weekly shows. Check GI JOE, it was basically the same thing over and over each week without much of story telling at all but the basic..

I remember it, but only half of the episodes are translated into English. Great show but no one else remembers it as it was shown at 4 in the morning in the UK. Great to unwind to when coming home.
