i'm right there with ya. This year is shaping up to be huge. I don't even want to think about next year.

I don't think A&D is going to be a blockbuster. The Da Vinci Code was .............well you know

June
Fast and the Furious 4
The A Team
Prince of Persia
Transformers 2

July
Ice Age 3

August
GI Joe

Those are just a few. There are always late additions and movies you dont hear about until the winter. But May and June 2009 are starting to seem extremely big. Jurassic Park 4 is "supposed" to come out next summer, yet its been said the last 5 years it would be out. Captain America, Thor, and Ant Man are all possibilites from Marvel. Cloverfield 2 is said to have a possible May release.

I think it is promising, but nowhere near the caliber of this summer's releases. Plus we have HP6 in November

Exactly. HP6 should be great! HP5 was my least favorite book, and what I did like about it, Firenze teaching and whatnot wasn't really in the 5th movie. I did like the movie and all of them. And will for sure buy the 8pack of awesomeness when it comes out!!! but next will be good. I just can't get past this year's line up. Dark Knight should be awe-inspiring

I think they did pretty well in 5, but one of my favorite parts was when Umbridge is in Magonagal's (however you spell that) class to judge her. Oh well. November is fairly big too, between that and Quantum of Solace.

Can't remember the last time I've seen so many big movies. Basically the Summer started early because it started this month with the releases.

Some of them look like fun, but geez are there no original movies anymore. It's all tv, video game, and comic book spinoffs.

Well there's really nobody that can really write an original script anymore

True and most that do are adapted screenplays from a book or short story.

well, I'm a screenwriter (or at least attempting to be one). I have plenty of ideas. It's choosing one that actually has merit and then applying what I've learned through observation and experience to make the movie unique.

"A Team" could be either really good or a disaster, same thing with the new star trek...

well, i'd love to tell you, but I've taken a vow to not discuss projects until I've at least finished a rough draft. At the moment I'm in the early stages of a new screenplay. I'm sorry I can't say more.
