Sorry. I STILL believe something is up. It's been all but confirmed that a digiital release is coming. If they weren't waiting for something "special," they would have announced it already. I predict we'll get an announcement of SOMETHING at Celebration.

A digital release is coming but that has nothing to do with the theatrical cuts. Separate issues, separate rumors.

I was obsessed with the OT when they came out in theaters and when the special editions came out, I got obsessed again. But now I can't really even watch them anymore. I tried to watch Empire Strikes Back this past weekend, but only got as far as the asteroid scene. I haven't tried to watch them since the Star Wars Saga set came out, but I still have all the dialogue in my head from when I was younger. It won't go away. I was saying all the lines right along with the movie. It's funny what the brain retains.

Who ever denied this? It is obvious they are doing a digital release later this year and plan to promote it like it's a big deal. Reminds me of the massive hype around the Beatles albums coming to MP3 sites as if they were never available to burn off a CD before. What people are denying is that this means it will be the original cuts, or that even if it is the original cuts they will be exclusive to digital.

It's almost surely going to be the same cuts (and masters) as the blu rays and if it's not then it's way, WAY too early in the decline of physical media for a big popular series like Star Wars to have a digital only anything.

Those are pretty crap figures (mostly 5POA, all just basic repaints at most) but I may have bitten just because I collect Leia. But they couldn't see fit to include her in even ONE of the packages. Insanity.

I've also been feeling that way about Sideshow/HotToys/etc. - it seems they release Luke/Han/Vader/Clone Trooper/Clone Trooper/Luke/Han/Vader/Clone Trooper...rinse/repeat...it's getting annoying.
