The original point of the series was for each movie to feel different, based on the director. So one could argue the last few feeling the same is actually the problem, but whatevs. I don't think we should judge movies based on the title on the poster, more the movie itself. MI2 is a dumb fun action movie I enjoy.

It's a genuine pile of horse shit. Watched it once and just couldn't believe what I was watching after the classic original. The rest are all great fun though, III being my second fave I think.

I have now watched the first 4 and really none of them have stood the test of time well. Still like the first the most I guess. All 4 transfers are good but not great. Ghost Protocol is really a missed opportunity. You blow up the kremlin and end up with some boring generic action in Bombay..

When I redeemed the digital codes for these releases on VUDU, they all gave me 4K copies EXCEPT for MI: Rogue Nation, which was just HD. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I get the correct code?

For whatever reason, this seems to be the case for Rogue Nation. It's especially odd since it's the most recent release in the set.

Redeemed on Vudu i assume? Apparently it is broken and you have to redeem on Paramount directly. Go to 4ksheet.com before redeeming anything in 4K to know if there are issues or not.

This happened to me too, but two weeks or so ago Rogue Nation got upgraded to UHD. Dunno if it affects anything, but I redeeemed them through Paramount.

Yep--redeemed on VUDU and it was broken. I didn't know about that 4KSheet website, that's a good resource!

I did end up e-mailing Paramount customer service and they got back to me pretty quickly with an upgraded copy.

Did anyone compare the UHDs with the 4K iTunes versions for Apple TV 4K picture wise?

I would really like to know if the picture quality is relatively the same. Did they use the same master?

Finally watched Ghost Protocol. Looked super lovely as everyone says, especially the Dubai IMAX shots. Wowzers. I did think it was a little hot in contrast though, here and there.
