Wow this is amazing news! Truly a release we've all dreamed about but figured would never happen. I don't know how they did it but damn I love it

I wonder if Rubinstein is even aware that UHD's aren't region locked? Unless the Blu Ray also ends up being Region Free It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

I figure they were the US label that was rumored to have the contracts ready to be signed and then Rubenstein backed out.

If a US label DOES have it, they better announce it soon, otherwise everyone is going to buy the Second Sight version.

I believe that was Shout/Scream Factory. They have been trying to get the film for years and came so close one time. I do think they are the ones that have the US Blu-ray rights. And I agree with Duke, whoever has it in the US needs to announce it soon.

I think a zombie flyboy would be a great figure or the farm zombie from the cover.

If a US label does have it, part of me thinks they are waiting for an October release date due to Halloween, but it might be too late by that point as I'm sure many will have imported it by then.

Yeah, whatever. You get my point. SF has to be the front runner to get it in the US.

There was that post from an industry insider after the Second Sight news came out that explicitly said a US label also made a deal with him, but that Rubinstein cancelled it at the last minute. So, as far as anyone knows, that's still the state in the US.

I believe the deal that fell through at the last minute was a deal from a few years ago. Things could have changed since then.

Yeah, my impression was that story described negotiations from a couple or a few years back. I don’t see Rubinstein allowing a UK release just to leave the US untapped. I feel like he’d go “all in” and license to both territories at the same time when he finally decides to do it.

When I saw it as a kid I was completely unsure of the sex of that zombie.

We should get a wind-up of the hilariously terrible overacting nurse zombie.
