I must say that I loved the fight between Wolverine and Barakapool, and I liked Barakapool. I'm not a Deadpool fan, but I understand people want the "real" Deadpool to show up. Well, the time has come.

AN X-Men movie where they are all turned into children and Deadpool has to play babysitter while also trying reverse the effect would be pretty fun. Or at least a 45 minute TV episode, I am not asking for much here.

Sadly, that video looks a lot better than the movie.

I don't want to see Deadpool's origin story and I'm absolutely, in no way, interested in his love life. I just wanna see Deadpool f***ing around and f***ing shit up for one and half hours. That's all I want.

Deadpool would work well as an R-rated action comedy tv show - all these superhero shows are too serious. And the lightness in Supergirl and Flash is not what im looking for either.

Joe Carnahan would be a good director for the tv show.

Deadpool - Producers Fear the NC-17 Rating: There May be a Fight for the R-Rating

It's no surprise that this was a rocky road considering that superhero movies are as mainstream as they come and the PG-13 almost always a prerogative in this day and age.

It took 6 years until the studio finally gave in and agreed to a film that would go all-in with violence and humor that are directed at an adult audience. For 4 years, 20th Century Fox was in favor of a mass-appealing PG-13 version but X-Men Origins: Wolverine showed painfully clear how harmless and unauthentic that portrayed the character. The film will thus be rated "R" as the makers envisioned it.

But there might still be problems with the rating. The producers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick told Collider that the MPAA could be upset with some things the film shows:

WERNICK: We may have to appeal for an R rating as opposed to an NC-17.

We'll see if that really becomes true and whether cuts would be necessary or a successful appeal hearing could avoid that. The similar ironic and violent Kick-Ass movies had no problems getting the "R".

If they edit it down a bit to get an R rating that won't bother me since we know they'll most likely have an unrated version on home video.

I wonder if this'll be in the same "universe" as the X-Men films- you know what I mean- since it'll be very irreverent and it seems Colossus is slightly different, Ryan is playing him the same age as the Origins version but it's set in the present day, etc. I wonder if they'll include it in the X-Men blu-ray collections of the series, of which there are currently 7, such as "Wolverine and the X-Men complete collection" and "X-Men Experience" or if it'll be left out and tie in with Gambit, etc as kind of its own thing.

Gambit and Deadpool both take place in the Fox X-Men universe.
