Was anyone else annoyed by the weird laugh track they had on this film, where after every mildly amusing moment you'd hear loads of whooping and clapping? I assume it was a laugh track anyway, because no one would really get that excited over a joke that was so obvious you actually wanted them to avoid it. Right?

In a way, yes. But I do have a sense of humour (British though, so I guess that's debatable). I was referring to how after every mildly amusing moment, no mater what, there was always a "HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA YEAH IS FUNNY CAUSE JOKE!!!" and applause. I'll give you an example; at the end,
[Show spoiler]when Colossus is doing his speech about what makes a hero, and Deadpool shoots Ajax, there were people applauding it as though it was the most genius and hilarious plot twist ever. And yet, that was the most predictable moment of the film (in fact, the film quite frequently tried so hard to subvert expectations that it fell into every other cliche.

Look, I don't hate this movie, it did make me laugh a lot. But it's not as amazing as everyone is trying to make out, and not every gag was worth whooping and applause. I'd give it 7/10, maybe I'll enjoy it more on Blu-ray.

Opinions are like rectums. Everybody has one and they all stink, except your own!

Clearly you're unable to separate that each person viewing has different ideas of what is "applause" worthy so while you "laughed a lot" at certain things, someone else was laughing at what they felt was worthy of it.

This is an example of what is commonly referred to as "individuality"

To you, no it isn't but to the people that loved it yes, it is. Just because you don't think the movie is amazing doesn't mean that no one should be able to think it's amazing. You just didn't love it like others have and that is ok.

I think the movie was good, not great. 3.6/5

I blame myself since I saw all the trailers and they showed almost all the good parts of the movie in the different trailers. I think have I had listen to some of the jokes the first time in the cinema I would have loved it. The ending was quite meh for me though, I can definitely see why Reynolds was disappointed they couldn't afford
[Show spoiler] to use all the guns and other stuff in the end scenes.
His interpretation of the character was great.

Now that is a proven concept I hope Reynolds can take it to the next level of chimichangas w all the $$$ the studio will probably given them for the sequel which could become the best superhero movie yet.

The movies phenomenal, seen it 3 times already. Every joke still hits as hard every time even with less people around the laugh with every time. Absolutely love this movie, it's just pure entertainment. Makes us all feel like kids.

[Show spoiler]Maybe it just me but I loved the lack of guns at the end. Not just because I loved how he left them again but a nice hand to hand, sword to axe throw down was much better than a shootout.
Also, keep the budget small. It doesn't need $150 million to be great. Stay small and be inventive.

Some stuff they wanted to put like Cameos costs a lot more than I thought it seems
[Show spoiler], they wanted to put Taskmaster and Wolverine and other better known mutants in the ending so it wasn't just for the extra guns. Its not so much the extra cash for the actual movie scenes, but more for the paying for character licenses/actors and some extra digital effects. Hollywood bloating costs for licenses of individual characters at its best. I bet jackman reps wanted a lot of money to appear live in the movie and they couldn't afford it, they didn't even have to mention he was wolverine though.
I do agree that free reign usually uses movies to go bad, they should at least give them a 100million which is 2x as much as what they had in this movie.

EDIT: here is an article http://io9.gizmodo.com/everything-th...poo-1759651069
I did enjoy reynolds google talk, it explained some stuff for me.

But the
[Show spoiler]Hugh Jackman mask was so much better than having him on the movie. Personally, I also thought there didn't need to be any more cameos by other characters. It worked perfectly because of what they could have. You give them the use of all these other characters and it will be too much. I think he could show up in other X-Men movies, but keep his small. A few cameos yes, but you don't need the big characters. Colossus sized characters are perfect for Deadpool.
That's just me viewpoint though.

Deadpool's response to the SNL petition:

It's a play on the Kanye West SNL backstage rant, for those who aren't aware.
