I thought the same too, that it was his crayon drawing, but I figure it's blank and just meant to distract the motorcyclist.

Oh right, he could have been drawing something, not necessarily writing something.

Yeah, he was coloring something.

I was fairly unimpressed with the test footage. Nice to see some hardcore action, but the quips and one-liners get annoying and old real fast.

Besides, as much as I would like to see a Deadpool movie, I think it would be a box office flop with a very limited audience.

It was probably a penis.

You would hate the movie if they used the Reese and Wernick script. Practically every other line from Wade is a one liner. Some are pretty funny though.

But that is Deadpool. He's a nonsensical smartass.

I know what you mean, which is why I think having an X-Force movie with Deadpool in it would be better. I like Deadpool, but I can only take so much of him. He was great in the Hulk vs. Wolverine animated feature.

Deadpool can be an amazing movie or a total and utter failure. It all depends how they handle him. If handles right I'm in for a movie.

Exactly. I like the character, and his smartass comments, but they went way overboard with them in that short clip.

I agree. Use him in a movie like x-force. But then of course theres no way they do it R.

I became a huge Deadpool fan in the early 90s. Back then he wasn't spitting out jokes every other line. He talked a lot and did make quite a few jokes, but he was a much more serious mercenary.

I love this clip and would definitely see this movie if it came out, but I still prefer the "old Deadpool".

He's the Merc with the mouth for a reason.

That would be a movie I'd come home from and get into bed and go to sleep from being tired of hearing the guy talking so much.

I would love to see an R-rated X-Force like Craig Kyle and Chris Yost gave us, or the Uncanny X-Force that Rick Remender did.

I'm actually completely with you, it just sort of felt jarring, the timing and rhythm felt off and quips just didn't feel naturally occurring and free-flowing.

I wouldn't say Deadpool would be a complete box office flop, Agents of Shield is still on air and that completely blows (imho) and with Disney pulling the Marvel strings now there are going to be people who have never even picked up a comic before becoming fans.

If a Deadpool, or X-Force, movie were to happen, it would be done by Fox, not Disney/Marvel. Fox has the rights to all things X-Men in film, in which these fall under.
