A little off topic:

Because this is a HARD R does anyone hope it is really successful just so we see more movies throw the kitchen sink at us.

I mean, this movie looks so unbelievably awesome I feel like it is too good to be true and I'll die before I see it but the idea that this movie could 'open doors' for other extremely fun, violent, sweary CBM's excites me to no end.

This makes good bank then I'm dying to see the other studios embrace the Hard R, and not just for CBM's.

Long story short.. what I'm trying to say is... GIVE ME A ****ING MORTAL KOMBAT MOVIE with Goro ripping someone's head off, spine still attached.

I thought they don't let in kids if the movie or whatever will be R rated.

Looks Like a R rated superhero comedy.
Watchmen was a way more serious R rated superhero movie. Looks kind of good

Only because Watchmen was a really hard sell, this story was way different to what the mainstream expected, and when a movie with a $130mil budget is hard to sell, it's just as hard to get that money back. Deadpool is pretty much the opposite, the comic con trailer has a tone and style that a lot of non-comic book people are way more familiar with, so it's tone and style make it a way easier sell then Watchmen; Deadpool's marketers have the film's action and comedy to help sell it, Watchmen had very little action scenes, and the profound script pretty much put marketing in a corner of nightmares with how almost impossible the film was to sell. And add the fact that Deadpool has a budget around 50mil, makes the box office intake not as worrisome compared to Watchmen, if Deadpool makes 200mil, that's sequel greenlight money, compared to Watchmen, which would still not be double it's budget if it had made that much.
