Is this suppose to fit into the Fox superhero universe with X-Men?? Wiki says its the 8th X-Men flick?

Why is Colossus the bad guy here? or is it Deadpool?

deadpool is kind of an anti-hero... and I use that term "hero" gingerly. he's a merc who SOMETIMES is on the side of the good guys

Having read some Deadpool comics, I'm sure he was just talking some s*** to Colossus for fun and Colossus let him have it to shut him up.

There's a line in the CC trailer that's not in the red band trailer. Something I partially can't repeat on here without getting into trouble.

Looks weak IMO. None of the gags worked for me, unless they were supposed to make me cringe, in which case they worked. Action looks a bit seen it all before but hopefully it's just because we're seeing an early trailer.

Looks great. I laughed my ass off at several lines which is a good sign considering that was less than 2 1/2 minutes worth of footage. I loved the dig at Green Lantern.

I'll definitely see this in theaters. First, because if that trailer is representative of the finished product, this is gonna be an awesome flick. And second, because damn it, we need more studios having the stones to make R-rated superhero movies.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be that he's still recognizable when unmasked. I would've liked to see him more like the comics, with a completely hamburger meat head... just something that would make others puke when they saw him unmasked (like the comics)... something to where you wouldn't even be able to tell it was Ryan Reynolds.

Not really, they seem to get the humour of the character. Wolverine was as generic as they come. You think it looks bad, that's fine, but the distinction is as clear as day.

I expected to hate this, but it looks ok. I still have a way bigger problem with Deadpool fans than with Deadpool himself. This could actually be good.

I genuinely dislike these kind of "hipper than thou" action films. And I genuinely dislike the character and it's creator, Rob Liefeld. He's worse than even Mark Millar in the realm of making ultraviolent childish "adult" comic books. Utter trash. Pass.

To a degree I concur. At least half of the "jokes" fell flat for me, but some really worked and I will watch it and hope to enjoy it. I just really hope it doesn't outstay its welcome as I can see it getting tired really fast.

I don't know, it just seems to me that Deadpool would be better suited for shorts, sort of how Pixar shows a short before each of their films. The zaniness probably works better in short bursts, but we'll see.
