WHAT THE EFFING EFFING EFF?!?!?!

That Vader "No" ruins the entire scene!! Ugggghhhhhhhhh....

George Lucas is now just playing a game to see how bad he can make these movies and keep selling them.

This could all be happening right now, this is Star Wars.
Wonderful analogy!

Stuff like this makes me glad that I held on to my THX "Faces" LD set. I'd rather have sub-par A/V quality than deal with the changes (read: desecration) of the OT films...

Yeah, I second this, has anyone looked at these shots (The wampa arm, the TIE fighter shot, expanded TPM)?

There is no PT rips yet, Humdinger glitch has been fixed, as the wampa arm as well.

According to the only real official word we've had on those two changes..

There were a number of audio mixes and different versions for the original cuts.

And that those takes were in better shape and clearer than the ones in the original versions.

that is sane?

It's becoming evident that Lucas just should have said "F*ck it" and just rebooted the damn first trilogy. That way we could at least get the original trilogy in it's unaltered state.

Its this weird glitch that appears at the bottom of the screen during the Death Star attack in Star Wars (A New Hope).
One of the screw ups during the 2004 release, I believe.

Default Gotta be fake guys

Come on! I was at work today when I heard this news about the audio and our internal network won't allow for playing a video. In any case, I just got home and listened to the two files(Vader and Obi-Wan). No way is this real. Seriously, if this is real, then not only does George Lucas have a poor ear, but so do his "professionals" who work there, if they can't tell how bad and out of place these sound. Not only that, but the mixing is just downright poor. Seriously, if this is real, it puts into question, for me at least, the professionalism of him and his team as this is really shody, not to mention in bad taste.

I admit it's a minor issue, but it bothers me nonetheless.
On my screen the vhs one looks more green and the blu ray looks white.
