He hasn't made her watch NASCAR, yet. She'll find watching any movie you pick acceptable after a weekend of racing.

The Euros have a comma and not a decimal-point in-between Euros and Cents on Amazon, I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be written or not, but that's how Amazon roll. If it was in thousands you'd have three figures after the comma (like you had in your post).

I think we'd both enter into a suicide pact if forced to watch that.

Thought I'd throw this into the mix re the end of 'Revenge of the Sith'.

Well, well, well...

I'm running a half marathon here in Atlanta on Thanksgiving morning before visiting my family, and then I'm also running another half marathon on Saturday morning. I don't want to go out into the fray on Black Friday, and that's going to be a non-running day while I rest between races, so...

On Friday, I'm going to revisit all six Star Wars movies, starting with Episode I, by way of this Complete Saga Blu-ray set, which I haven't touched since I first watched these Blu-rays back in 2012 or so.

This is going to take some endurance, even for an enthusiastic fan like me...haha. Still, I cannot wait. I'm looking forward to spending a lazy lazy day "studying" these movies again before I go see The Force Awakens next month.

To be fair the doctors in the article did say the vast majority of cases they've seen turn out to just be awful, lazy writing.

Much of Europe, Africa, and South America uses commas for decimal points instead of periods.

One can easily look it up on Wikipedia too, as well as numerous other medical journals, etc., but logic doesn't apply to the Lucas haters.

Padme did NOT die of a broken heart and besides dying of a broken heart really is a thing!

As opposed to the rabid Lucas apologists who act like he can do no wrong, who act like it's some kind of attack on them whenever there's any valid criticism directed towards the man, and who believe the new SW material being created doesn't count because he's not involved with it?

Yeah, I'm sure those people are the very definition of logical.

So you think conflating different posters into one composite nonexistent individual counts as scoring some kind of point?

So question...is TFA not considered Episode VII? I mean it isn't on the title, either. So I guess they are trying to distinguish between the Lucas films and this one?

This has probably been posted here about a hundred times before, but here is an alternate theory about Padme's death.

Enjoy!

the packaging is pretty tame compared to the previous set. I prefer my Complete Saga set with digibook style packaging. I know ppl go on about ruined discs and whatever but I don't know what they're doing because mine are in perfect condition. I'll admit the front artwork is nice. Enjoy it!

Neat stuff.

I always pretended "complications from the force choke and that droid is dumb," but this is a much better fan-theory to explain shit. Either way we can all pretend Anakin killed her and move on with our lives.

Yeah! That's what I meant! I wish it was the new front artwork with the previous contents, but meh, can't have it both ways! I thought about getting the individual steelbooks from Best Buy but I'm trying to not buy as much physical entertainment (BDs/music/books) but probs will get steelbook for Episode VII. I also find it baffling that digital copies on iTunes are the same price as this set smh. In the end, the physical artwork and BDs superior quality made me choose the physical version since I held out on the previous release.

Nonexistent? That you can't believe the people in question even exist speaks volumes.

Yeah, I'm sure those people are the very definition of logical.
Ya know, it's entirely possible to have respect for Lucas, to be thankful for what he's created, AND to recognize his more egregious mistakes in the past 15 years, AND to still be critical of movies in general, AND to choose to let it not be the end of the world or the ruin of that last little non-bitter part of your imagination.

And if we're gonna start trying to categorize everybody on here who defends Lucas as an 'apologist,' which I don't think is really even a correct use of the label, I HAVE to counter with the fact that the 'critical' minds on this thread attack Lucas' intake of carbs along with some of his bad decisions! Much as I enjoy the literate film discussion around here, this is not, um, critical thought.
