Also if you input the code fast enough the ghost of Obi-Wan appears in your living room saying "These are the versions you were looking for!"

This only works if one person is watching. To have another person watch you have to press up up, down down, left right, left right, b a select enter. But since there's no select button on the remote, only one person can watch them at a time.

I've never really gotten over the death of Boba Fett.

...he died so horribly.

He didn't deserve to die. He was just a hard-working member of society. He didn't even kill Han when he could have. His death is a tragedy.

i've never understood the appeal of Boba Fett.
He was a nothing character in cargo pants...
At least Jango was cool.

I bet Boba spent his entire life trying to live up to his dad's legacy. He's popular to us because we were introduced to him first cinematically, but in their universe he was just living in Jango's shadow.

Losing your father at such a young age has to take an emotional toll.

...to persevere and become a successful bounty hunter is an inspirational story imo.

He also had to deal with the undoubtedly stressful fact that there were millions of idiots around him who shared his exact DNA and that his dad was literally an older version of himself.

He could always take solace in knowing that they're just dumbed-down versions of his father, while he's the real deal. Doesn't mean he would be filled with endless confidence, but his spirit ghost can take comfort in knowing that he's as unaltered as the original trilogy should be. The clone troopers are the "special editions", which is to say "not special."

Hopefully next year, coinciding with the Blu-ray release of the new ANH prequel story Rogue One.

If it doesn't happen in 2017, I will have to realize that I have to look into other options.

If you would have been six or seven-years-old when the original action figure was released you would understand.

The transfer ain't too shabby for a laserdisc transfer if you look past the horrendous motion blur.

Boba Fett was cooler when he had his original voice.

Those discs really aren't that horrible either, all things considered. I still watch them.

It's the noise reduction that does it, they're so smeary. But yeah, they're still not the worst thing ever.

I will continue to hate-watch the blu-rays thank you very much. Every time a horrible change comes on screen I snap myself with a rubber band.

That's not a bad idea, though if I ever buy the Blus again I'd probably need to stub out a cigarette on my arm every time some stupid change comes up.

Just download the Despecialized Editions and burn them to a blank Blu-Ray disc. That's what I did.
