Maybe instead of saying "Don't know why Disney..."

You could say, I don't think it is photoshopped....or I didn't photo shop it...etc.

The first implies there is no other possibility...which of course would be silly right?

I honestly wasn't sure, hence the appreciation with disclaimer in case it was a photoshopped joke.

No worries. It's not a shop...Lucas showed up to help. Thumbs up.

He also told me he's seen "the whole Harry Potter trilogy."
Did you explain to him that tri = three, and there were eight Harry Potter movies?

Maybe he thought it sounded better than saying "I saw the Harry Potter octology."

By the way, because of you I watched the Godfather AGAIN. I have a theory, every Pacino movie has a Pacino "walk". When you see that, there is a bad ass quality. While I stick to my complete "turn to darkside" concept in the restaraunt being the point of no return (my wife made a point by the way with the hospital scene... she said if that is a "fall" we are all guilty, because who wouldn't "fall" to protect family?), I saw something else.

After Pacino/Michael is on phone after hearing about father from Sonny, he takes a ride to the house. You hear the music and it is his same theme in the resteraunt only subdued. You see him get out of the car with camera on back. Perhaps that was the point where he went to darkside. That ride changed him. He was Pacino at his finest walk that we have seen as a caricature in Dick Tracy. Lol

Just thought I would share that and at least thank you for causing me to see great film AGAIN. I now feel Godfather II is not worthy of I. Like Empire from Star Wars with Han, I do not believe the progression makes sense.

That Michael from first movie put the smack down on Fredo and Kay. He had control and i don't see him as dumb enough to lose either one into the downward spiral that was written outside the novel.

Because they would have to be so stupid. That is the only way to explain it.

Meanwhile you may have a few stones to pick up.

Are the colors (color timing) of "The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One" based on the OT Special Edition 2k masters?
I wonder because the colors of these old dated HD masters are wrong.
Thank god they didn't crush the blacks in "TFA".

Haha. You mean the producer who was sacked after The Empire Strikes Back for going way over budget?

Get out of here.

Oh, maybe it's because he's happy peddling the myth that he left Star Wars because of artistic differences with George Lucas rather than the simple fact that he was sacked because he was ineffectual at his job. He rode that particular lie most prominently during the period of the prequels, making a lot of money from interviews where he cracked on that he was some holier than thou character whilst all George Lucas was interested in was merchandise.

As for The Empire Strikes Back and the lofty position it holds with some of the fans, well I would contest that the success of that film occured despite Kurtz, not because of him.

How anyone thinks that ESB owes its success to anyone other than Kasdan, Kirshner, and Lucas is beyond me.

Please read: The Making of: The Empire Strikes Back by JW Rinsler. A LOT of great information there and it is nice to have 30 years since making the movie when he wrote the book. Makes people more willing to talk about what actually happened.

I think Kersh was a far bigger factor in Empire's lasting adoration, he managed to ground the material in a way that no SW movie did before or since. And FWIW, Carrie Fisher said that one of her main memories of Kurtz on the shoot was that he stood around taking photos (from the wonderful book mentioned above me).

Of course it's Kershner. But it was Kurtz who allowed him to make the movie he wanted. Lucas was only worried about money.
