I don't know what that is. Should I be insulted?

I've seen the prequels at least five times a piece at the theatre, more then that on DVD. Seen the originals at least 20 times a piece at the theatre (movies were cheaper back then and we could afford to go multiple times a week!), and at least 50 times a piece on DVD. Bought every single variation of the movies when they came on home video (VHS and DVD), including two major box sets of the originals (one with Vaders face, the other with a hologram). In other words, I'll definitely be getting the box set/digibook of the complete saga. Absolutely love the packaging, though I do wish they would add all the extras from previous releases so it truly would be the ultimate Star Wars Collection. Oh well, I suppose I'll take what I can get, and add all the discs of special features (from previous releases) into the two box sets I already own. Either way, September 16 can't come soon enough...

I just really can't wait to see these movies in beautiful HD lovliness! And like Victor Wright, I have seen all 6 of these movies so many times, I can almost repeat all the dialog.

By the end of 1977 domestic gross was close to two hundred million dollars.

Adults liked these stories just fine.
Also, what's a "real" adult? Is that compared to a "fake" adult? Are we talking about robots now? Of course robots didn't like Star Wars, they're completely discriminatory movies about robots and I'm surprised there's no petition.

I love your argument and agree with you. But I can just see the response back: "Even Childrens' movies win awards and make lots of money..." or "Awards don't mean anything.." blah blah blah.

Ugh. The PT seems more aimed at children imo than the OT. But that is neither here nor there.

GL is not milking everything ok he is doing this for the fans of star wars alright and he is not a cash cow money hungry ego maniac like some fans clam he is so quit bashing him. 1st off he give half of his money to different charities and funds it for his education foundation. 2nd on CNN just 2 weeks ago he quoted to say I still love star wars and star wars fans so this whoile GL does'nt care about the fans thing is so wrong because he does care about the fans.

I like the boxes. Can't complain about the cover art, because it won't be looked at much. Very excited about these movies and watching them with my kids. May even be able to get the wife involved.

So glad that it's in packaging like the Alien series. That's just bombad.

The packaging itself doesn't concern me, but I still can't believe that they're going with that lame-o Complete Saga cover art.

You say lame-o, I say classy and awesome. I really don't see what the problem is.

Exactly. You two have different tastes and opinions. There's no problem here. These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Yep. For those who don't like the coverart, there's always customs.

But frankly, you're almost never going to see the art on your shelf. So no biggie.

I prefer the Blu cases over digibook, so I'll probably change from complete saga to both trilogies separately. Doens't sound like the extras disc is anything to miss anyways. I'll probably leave my preorder until I see what retailer specials there are, too.

I don't think it's a bad looking set at all. I think it could be better, yes, but not bad at all.
