+1 with a sketch! Super excited to see this thing in person, though I need to decide on a sketch idea now

Did anyone snag a Battle Royale from Mondo this morning? Anyone going after the Poltergeist LP tomorrow? Or is everyone patiently waiting to see what Sunday has in store?

Sunday? What's happening Sunday? I passed on the Battle Royale, and I don't think I'm going to go for the Poltergeist LP either, it is the Drive LP that I really want.

Sunday is Mondos Oscar night. Some say a new Ansin piece is just on the horizon Others say a Django Stout is coming! Though that's all smoke and mirrors until Mondo reveals the details.

Speaking of Drive. A very nice EB member sent me the mustang sticker and a little card a few days ago, which arrived today!
Gonna have to pass the Karma along

Mondo really does that? They probably on ship First Class International Mail as well, if so, they are really playing with fire there. There is no tracking for First Class International Mail, so if a package goes lost, stolen, or damaged, because First Class doesn't allow for insurance to be added (unless a 3rd party company is involved), then there is no protection for Mondo. Also because there is no tracking all a person has to do is say "I never got it" and Mondo would have to send them a replacement or a refund. IF they are shipping Priority Mail International, there is tracking, insurance (exceeding the $65-$70 that automatically comes on it is optional), they protect themselves but Priority is 2x to 3x the cost of First Class and I doubt they charge that to their customers. Shipping a Mondo print First Class mail out of the country is a major gamble. Sure, chances are it will arrive, but if it doesn't or it gets damaged, there is no coverage and Mondo would have to refund or replace out of their pockets.

He's the go-to guy over at expressobeans.com. The work he does is beautiful but that was a lot more than I was looking to spend. Nice poster btw.
I have been speaking with Corey over at espresso beans, after looking at some great examples of frames over their it has really opened my eyes to some of the artwork, im definitely going to start upgrading some of my boring frames, you start to appreciate the art more when they are in a great frame,

as Corey is based outside the UK i have been speaking to Ashton (Brampton Framing) and am looking at a custom frame, ill let you know how it goes and hopefully i will get some pictures up when it arrives,

I wonder how many of their orders are actually outside the US? Without a doubt they could get jerked around by deadbeat buyers, but I imagine they see less of those as it wouldn't surprise me to learn they would 'black list' a buyer if they pulled that stunt too many times. I think if the popularity of their work continues to rise it is only inevitable that enough bad apples will ruin it for the lot of us, but for now they are pretty decent about it.

I recently purchased a new iPad case from TwelveSouth. They didn't offer USPS shipping as an option for out of country buyers and I called them on it. They clearly stated they had to stop offering it due to the overwhelming number of 'lost orders', they said greater than 15% of their USPS out of country orders were reported 'lost' which really isn't even in the realm of possibility. So clearly other sellers have been burnt one too many times by people with incredibly low set morales.

Guys, I need some help choosing a phrase to add in the margin of my "It's a dinosaur" print. I've got these so far but it can be something else if you guys have any ideas.

"Welcome To Jurassic Park"
"Life Find's A Way"
"You did it. You crazy son of a ***** you did it."

What are you thinking of getting as a sketch? just so we can put both together.

I'm still pondering my sketch as well. Best thing to do? Fire up Jurassic Park for a marathon all weekend!

Nope, no sketch, just a phrase that sums up the poster.

I kind of like the last one... reminds me of how he named his Walking Dead Print. Not sure if that was the name of the episode, I know it was a quote from the last episode of season 2, but I like the idea of a quote.

Mitch from Mondo is saying over on expressobeans that more than the announced 3 will be dropping. A few surprises which could be anything from Stout to Ansin...maybe Django or possibly the long delayed Stout Drive?

Oscars start at 8pm EST. Typically, they run until about 11:30 or so EST.

Has anyone had experience framing posters larger than a US 1sheet? I need to frame a 39x55 Italian 1panel poster and have no idea where to go.
