One thing that COULD be an issue if you use ready-made frames is the foam board may not fit properly as some frames are give enough room for cardboard backing which is thinner than foam board so you would want to do some checking, basically trial and error is the best way to go about it. Just make sure you buy foam board from an art store, etc that its acid-free. It should be off-white in color and rough when you run your hand over it.

You know. I leave those generic image that comes in them and just flip them over. Also, I throw a few of the video store posters in as well to help flatten them out too. Got a few good ones via video store posters.

I have an Interstellar video store poster, it was pretty banged up. I need to take a look at it.

Anyone else here a fan of Kevin M. Wilson aka Ape Meets Girl? I've become obsessed with his work. I actually just got APs for both the Beach Closed and Beach Open "Jaws" prints in the mail today, I already own his "E.T." print and today I just ordered his posters for "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Jurassic Park," "Se7en," and "War of the Worlds."

Love this guy.

I have ran into this issue before just depends on the frame. What I have personally started to use is a acid free paper. Should basically do the same thing as far as protection right ?

The one problem could be for you with acid-free paper as the backing is the rigidity. Foam board is solid, paper is flimsy and generally helps to keep the poster flat because its between the glass and foam board (or cardboard for those who use that).

Has anyone here built their own lightbox?

I need one that's 6-feet tall by 4-feet wide for my Rocket and Groot bus shelter poster. For lighting I prefer LED.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I love his works and own both ET and No Wonder You're extinct. ET might be my favorite print I own which include numerous Englert's, Ansin's, Fosdikes and Taylor's. Jaws is a must own and I gotta get my hands on at least Beach Closed.

I think you will start to see more timed releases out of Mondo.

Off-topic on prints/posters....

While I enjoyed Fury Road, I felt if they were going to do a reboot, which it basically was to a certain degree, Fury Road would have made for a better 2nd or 3rd film in a rebooted franchise rather than the first film. I would have preferred to see them develop Max as a character with his history and background when he was a copy (basically a re-telling of the original Mad Max) and then have it lead into a Fury Road.

Max was such a secondary character in the new film with very little dialogue. I also felt this way about the first Sherlock Holmes film with RDJ.

Saw MI: Rogue Nation, that was a fun movie, Tom Cruise kills it yet again. Ran circles around Jurassic World which was total garbage in my opinion.

Did you guys see the print Kevin M. Wilson aka Ape Meets Girl did for "The Incredibles" for Hero Complex Gallery? It's called "Glory Days" and I think it's the best poster for the film that has ever been done.
