I’ve recently gotten a few prints and posters framed by Framing Devil in LA. I don’t have lots of free wall space, but hope to frame more.
![]() ![]() ![]() Those are the Joshua Budich Twin Peaks print, a EQC Star Wars Loteria print and the original insert poster from Escape From New York. Last edited by jrsl76; 12-13-2019 at 06:17 AM. |

Okay..it's time. I just moved and really can't hold onto ALL of these, so it's time to sell.
These are all original, double-sided, posters from my time working at a movie theater. I can provide individual photos if you PM me with the posters you are interested in. I am asking $20 each plus shipping. 27x40 (One Sheet): [Show spoiler] 48x70 (Bus Shelter): [Show spoiler]

If anyone has or knows someone that has the original 1985 Back to the Future Double-Sided Mall Poster, 39.75" x 49.75" that they'd be interesting in selling, please contact me, as I'm looking to add one to my collection.

On a related note, if you happen to be close to Seattle, next month is Emerald City Comic Con and they will have as guests Fox, Lloyd, Thompson, and Wilson. It's the first time Fox has appeared at ECCC. |

I've been collecting BTTF memorabilia since 1989, pretty much anything and everything that's officially licensed, and even theatrical and home video marketing material. I've never seen this poster in anyone else's collection, not even Zemeckis' or Gale's, and they've got some rare BTTF posters. No one seems to know where this poster originated from, and even some prominent figures in the BTTF collecting community had never seen it up until Cinemasterpieces originally listed it; some thought it might have even been a fake, however that's been since debunked. For all we know, that could have been the one and only poster of that size ever printed, perhaps even as a prototype the marketing department wanted to use for the midwest region, which is where it seems to have come from. From what I can tell, it's probably the rarest BTTF poster in existence, which is why I posted on here, to maybe try to increases my chances in locating one, if there even is another one out there. |

For standees, it depends on the title, and whether or not it's the home video standee, or the theatrical ones used in theatre lobby's. The theatrical ones are usually more difficult to find, and more expensive. I see standees pop up on eBay now and again, but the vast majority of the time they're for promoting the home video release.

Does it hurt posters to be near steam? I put some stuff up in my guest bedroom, but the bathroom has no door (it's a design element, not anything weird lol). If my guests ever take a bath or I use it, will the steam coming out affect or wrinkle the posters in the frames? Not much choice other than have nothing on the wall in a big room.

As most of us here know Disney Rewards changed to Disney Insider and there choices have dwindled. Posters are just about non existent. I missed out on the Rise Of Skywalker Poster, to complete my new Trilogy set. Does anyone have a lead on one for me, or point me to the right location. Lots of scams out there and don't want to be spending money on the wrong one.
as I see ORIGINAL Rolled Double Sided and RE-PRINT Rolled Single Sided. newbie here, (nob question ![]() ![]() I would assume the Disney Rewards ones I have currently (Star Wars and Marvel) are Original ones and double sided? Can't believe the cost these are going for. Damn shame Disney stopped there program or continued to issue prints on there new site with reward point system. Anyways, If someone can lead me to the right poster and right size, to match my others (Force Awakens and The last Jedi which I got from Disney Rewards) it would be greatly appreciated. Safe Website or even Ebay etc. Thanks |

1.) Original means it is the true poster design that was picked by the studio themselves. They are also not reprints, meaning a 3rd party business, like "Trends Posters" aka Walmart posters, did not make it. It's either straight from the studio or the official distributor of the studio. You want an original poster because it's worth more. 2.) Double sided posters are made for lighted poster boxes, like the ones you see at the movie theater. They have a reverse image of the poster on the backside. Makes the image "pop" when in a lighted box. These are worth more since these are the intended posters from the studio. Although, single sided posters aren't bad either. To note: Most posters from the classic black and white films all the way to the mid 80's to early 90's had single sided posters. Then, everyone shifted over to double sided ones. 3.) Most of the Disney Reward Posters were Double-Sided and Original. There are a few that were not Double-Sided though, like the first Avengers movie. The down side of the Disney Movie Rewards posters were the way they packaged them. Most had creases, tears, etc. There at the end though, they seemed to have gotten better at the packaging before it went to Disney's Movie Insider. 4.) As to places to find legit posters, try here: https://www.movieposters.com/ Their prices can be steep at times, but they have sales every once in a while. But they are a legit company. I have ordered plenty of posters from them. They sell both Domestic Posters as well as UK/Foreign posters too. For example, some will say "In Theaters" which is a Domestic U.S. poster and others will say "In Cinemas" which a UK or Foreign Poster. Just look out for those differences! I know "Kinsella5" also sells posters but I will let him talk to you if he still does and you are interested. Here's a link to The Rise of Skywalker Posters:https://www.movieposters.com/collect...e+of+skywalker If anyone else has any information they would like to add, do it! Hope this helps! Happy Collecting!! ![]() Last edited by PUsokrJosh305; 05-01-2020 at 04:32 PM. |

Hey wozman, I have been collecting posters for a long time and would recommend movieposters.com. They are even a Canadian company!
Just keep note of the sizing of the posters since many reprints are smaller than official one sheet (27 x 40) size. I would never buy from eBay unless it is from someone I know and trust, or else if it is a throwaway reprint poster. Even then, I would prefer to buy reprints from official vendors because you never know the actual quality of the eBay vendors. Original movie posters are expensive but retain their value over time. Reprint posters do not and can be of very poor quality. Do not mount original movie posters on anything that is not reversible if you don't want to affect its value. Finally, yes, steam (and moisture in general) is very bad and can ruin posters and all paper products. Apart from the wrinkles, you can also get mold. Hang your poster someplace else! |

If anyone goes the route of finding originals elsewhere, feel to check with me before ordering and depending on if I have in stock, I can generally beat their price. I do hope everyone is well and staying safe out there! |
