I give a pass to Lucas for that. It's pretty hard to keep continuity when you make the trilogies in reverse order.

He also couldn't alter the timeline either like they did with the Star Trek reboot movie to get around such issues while remaining faithful at the same time.

"I haven't gone by the name of Obi-Wan since, oh, before you were born."

That "oh" means to me "approximately", or "around about". Which is very true. It's obvious he didn't mean not a single person called him Obi-Wan after Luke was born. Sometimes people quote him as saying "long before you were born" which is not what he said.

He went by 'Old Ben' on Tatooine while hiding out, not 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'.

With every major release like Avatar or LotR, I've heard people complain 'that movie' won't play in their player. But I've never had a problem with compatibility with the ps3 (or anyone else having a problem).

Can't wait to hear those TIEs roar tomorrow

So, if and whenever the live-action TV series gets started are we then to assume that Obiwan will then go by Ben while he's in hiding?

Yep same here....and to further annoy the rest
My set just shipped from amazon.com with an estimated arrival of: TOMORROW

I was watching some of the lightsaber fights earlier today and every single time that I watch the Mace Windu vs. Palpatine I start busting up. The facial expressions Palpatine makes are priceless. They seem so sexual lol

There are two Best Buys in my area, and neither one is having a midnight release. The Super Target in my area closes at 11pm, so that's a no go. That only leaves Walmart, and I have called both stores in my area, and both said that they will have it at midnight, but they don't have any info on the price, and that if the in store price is different than their website, they will not match the price.
if anything, show them the best buy AD. They will price match that, case closed.

Same here and it's ten after 8. I have my doubts I'll get it tomorrow, but I still have hope it will arrive just as I get home from work.

Obi-wan doesn't even remember R2-D2...and you're surprised he fudged when he last heard people call him "Obi-wan"?

You guys may still get it tomorrow. I only heard from Amazon at 8:39 eastern time that my complete Saga was shipped via UPS from Delaware. I have a good chance of it being delivered near Allentown, PA tomorrow.

And Thomas Knoll is his brother.

Mine left Indy and will be here before noon tomorrow

I don't know if it matters but I ordered within an hour of the preorder popping up here. The shipping notification came early this afternoon.
