Looking at these photos as a photographer, it looks like these were taken with a telephoto lens. If that is the case, things would tend to stack up making distances be compressed and things look closer together than they actually are.

I think this is early testing for a 3D release. Only reason I can think of to explain why this is even in there.

That's not a stacking issue. Those are cgi rocks. It's specifically mentioned in the press release.

That would kill continuity when Obi-Wan spots him cowering though.

Got mine today from Walmart.

Why does Ben tell Luke that he hasn't gone by the name of Obi-wan since before Luke was born? He was called Obi-Wan in RotS. Is that another mistake, like Leia knowing her mother?

That would be a good explanation if the rocks actually flickered a little like a hologram. Shame that they don't.

Future release, lol!

I understand that. But, what I am saying is that they did it correctly as if it was shot that way with a telephoto lens; that would give the affect as I described. So, as I have suggested if this was to look like it was taken with a telephoto lens, things would look closer than they are and R2D2 would in fact quite possibly have space to get in and out of the opening.

Luke's born at the very end of Sith so Yoda calls him Obi-wan maybe once after he's born.

That is strange. I did a search and found an older thread here where someone mentioned their Starship Troopers wouldn't play and they had to install an SD card. On the other hand, your firmware is up to date and you didn't mention it, but I'm assuming all seven discs other than those two work? If so, that makes it look like the discs. Yet it works in the other players. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure.

How else does he get in there. Someone use the audio commentary for that part and see if they addressed it.

That shot is even worse and does not looked stacked at all. Those rocks are clearly stuck to eachother.

And notice how the Wizards at ILM used a Photoshop clone tool and drop shadow to get this AMAZING effect.

How did you manage that? How much did it cost?

There are two Best Buys in my area, and neither one is having a midnight release. The Super Target in my area closes at 11pm, so that's a no go. That only leaves Walmart, and I have called both stores in my area, and both said that they will have it at midnight, but they don't have any info on the price, and that if the in store price is different than their website, they will not match the price.
