Still, if I had it my way, I'd have this scene fixed to match the saber blades in the rest of the Saga. I agree with everyone on that one.

Still, I just find it humors that they can do all the saber blades right in the Prequels, pretty much right in the Originals...except this one scene.

That's why I'm not up in arms about this issue because, it's never been right in this specific scene.
Are we talking about the new digital X-Wings that are all exactly the same X-Wing just copied and pasted?
Never noticed that...

I think all straw clutching has ended. These must be legit and they have produced a sub-par (in at least one scene) version. Although it is interesting that we have yet to get any commentary outside of ANH. What has happened to the blue snow?

Who would go to the work of remixing the entire audio tracks, adding ewok eyes/blinks, etc... and put them out there? Too much is apparently new for these to be fan made.

cheebo86 over at theforce.net has looked over the leak and confirms that it's legit.

He's/she's posted more over there and says that the Krayt call is different in this version and sounds better than it did in the '04 release.

He/she has said that the audio mix is outstanding. There's no new score elements (The Imperial March for instance) added to A New Hope.

And maybe there's a clothing shop next store and after Luke picks up the batteries we wipe to the interior clothing shop where Luke and Obi-Wan are running around trying to put different funny hats on each other. Then they both sigh as they fall down together into a bean bag chair. And we hear that woosh sound and you can cross fade that with a wipe and a tie-fighter going across the screen (Ext. Death Star - Easter Morning)...

Vader is sneaking around the hallway with his basket in hand.

Beast are you upset they didn't add the imperial march to ANH? I remember you were really hoping for that.

That would make for a great improvement!

If these are legit, I wonder what the LFL is doing to try and find the source of the leak. I wouldn't want to be the guy that finds a pink slip in my locker the next time I go to work. Or maybe they banish you to a cubicle next to the guy in charge of the Howard the Duck archive, and you get to listen to him talk like Donald Duck all day.

There is no proof that these are legit and if anyone can confirm with out a doubt that these are than prove it. This is just some random hack that is getting his kicks by putting up phony bd clips.

Why would they lie at a press event and say that they fixed stuff if they did not?
Think people.

What is really sad is you people are taking the bait.

What person has the time to redo the entire audio mix?

Or worse, they get the IP addresses of all those that download it and go after them like they are doing with music piracy. Good luck if you are one of the chosen ones!

It took someone about 2 weeks to completely fix the Conan the Barbarian blu ray audio problems.

It's not that hard if you know how to do it.

Of course they are real, someone on the Internet said they were. Why wait to see how they will look on the Blu-ray on release day when you can make post after post of ranting instead, that is much more fun

Funny thing is that everyone is ready to call these legit but most of them did not find the emails received by some from Lucasfilm as legit.....Ah well! You can make things as legit or un-legit as you wish them to be on the great Internet.

Imagine if that scene is a watermark for a review copy and they know who they gave that version of the bluray to.

(Knows of bands who would put a glitch in demo versions of songs so that they would know who leaked it)

The legal department seems to have been rather quite lately. I'm also surprised that many YouTube videos are still available on so many protected materials.

Perhaps Lucasfilm released a botch cut early to make all of the fanboys 'scream out in terror' and then be 'suddenly silenced' when the actual Blu arrives.

Probably not though eh?

Why should I quit? Only those that disagree with the release are allowed to rant?
