He's probably been curled up in the fetal position since this time last night, when the BD rip clips were posted

Lucas betrayed him

Now it's been damaged by that laughable Noooo.
Only if you watch it on blu ray. You can always keep watching the dvd and not worry about it.

We'll have to agree to disagree that one little slip up in the article constitutes dropping the ball. I sure don't think it does.

Thank You Frogmort.

I've been waiting for over three years, since Blu-Ray was initiated, and I for one have my fingers crossed for this STAR WARS Box Set release. I think I"m gonna hang in there with my Pre-Order and watch it from beginning (THE PHANTOM MENACE) to the end (RETURN OF THE JEDI) and see how it all "GELS TOGETHER," the way LUCAS is (currently) intending.

People have been discrediting Jedi for Years! And now it's one of the greatest moments in cinematic history? The movie with Ewoks, singing aliens, blue elephant man, and egg-headed Vader. This is ridiculous.
Some pretty lame and feeble connections being made there.

yeah, I think I'll stick with my pre-order as well and see how it is. I got it for $44.79 from barnes and noble so it'll be easy to recoup my costs pretty easily if I hate it.

I really hate that tired "don't buy it if you don't like it" f'ed-up knee-jerk response to people with an opinion about something .

Or, I can even sit back and wait for a good 1080p fan edit of this film that erases that foolishness. Additionally, when they do another release/repackaging in a few years, I can see if Lucas changes it back, like the appearing/then disappearing scream of Luke's in Cloud City between the '97 and '04 editions.

I'm still buying my 2 copies as well. Nothing that I've seen is a change that make my inner child cry.

And most of what I see I actually like. So I'm satisfied with plunking the cash down.

Yeah, they also said that Indy IV would have very little cgi. What did we get? First shot, a cartoonish gofer that pops out from a hole. Rad.

Agreed, if I wanted to watch it on DVD or VHS i wouldn't be on a BluRay forum.

I think the 1080p an Lossless audio are the main draw here...

Please don't mistake my complaining for an "I'm not buying this", because I'm gonna be in the front of the nerd line on the 16th, first thing in the morning. It's just sad to me that this seems to have more embedded drinking games added in than true improvements, but I'm still right there.

Same here. I think we all need to turn the Nerd Rage down a few notches, well at least I do.

I never thought I would ever hear the name Gomertonic pop up in the blu-ray.com forums. We could do without his presence.

I want a job at Lucasfilm. I can do a lazy half assed job really well.
