my quess is this if they gave the set a 5/5 then that mean that the pat were there is DNR are not that bad at all for episodes 1 .so to me i think the reason why they gave it a 5/5 is not just for the fact that its star wars was because the sound is a very very very very good loud fantastic sound ,so that was to a 5/5 aswell as the extra was at a what 4.5 out of 5 and the films they got a 4/5 and the pq on the films they got 4/5 too so really the question is this does DNR effect the first episode 1 to really give this film a low rateing and i say NOPE its beause out of the rest of the films they all look wonderful to watch so hey i say for get about the review forget about what the score was just injoy these films i bluray ,and the sound ,and extra because what we are geting her is a force that will hit us hard if we dont pay attention to what we are watching on the big screen.

Then ask yourself how much do you want the "movie" score of 1-3 to bring down the overall on 4-6.

My point is this box set is/will be given a pass because it is Star Wars. People have blinders (blinkers) on when it comes to this set.

I for one think that reviewers should be hyper critical of this release. It deserves it.

If you are grading on 4 criteria and you average a 4.37, how can you give it a 5 out of 5? Just wondering......

make it 4.5/5, that is definately more fair and also takes complains about some of those BS changes into consideration

Funny thing is, no one said or inferred that you had to accept the PQ as reference it was just an opinion.

But whatever, it's in the past lets just drop it and accept the movies for what they are or don't I don't care. Everyone has their own opinions and I respect that

So far I haven't heard anyone who actually owns them put them down yet. Both people here on this forum who I know had them spoke very highly about the movies. I am not saying I will agree with their opinions when I finally get the movies Friday and see them for myself or not I am just saying I was happy to hear they didn't suck as much as the people who never saw them except for screenshots or rips said they did.

I have no stance on the movies yet because I have not seen them. When I do I will have my own opinion then just like everyone else will have.


And why is it when someone makes an opinion on something its "biased"?? I mean just because he didn't agree with your take on the movies that makes it "bias"? That is just ridicules. lol

The review is an opinion but scientific analysis of the PQ are fact and can not be disputed.
Opinions are subjective. Scientific analysis is not but as we've seen in this thread, people will but a gold nugget polished into a turd.
