Default Missing Disc

Anyone else end up with a disc missing in their complete saga set? Mine arrived via Amazon today. I opened it up, started to flip through, and noticed there was no disc for Revenge of the Sith . Oh well, at least it wasn't an OT disc missing, lol. Amazon is overnight shipping a new copy to me so it's all good.

I can agree with that statement. There's no doubt in my mind that Lucas and Spielberg are two of the most influential filmmakers of their generation and beyond.

well they are still in league of the best movies
Why would he acknowledge he knew them to Luke? That would prompt Luke asking questions that can lead to things he's not ready for.

It's not a Digibook! It's a Digipak!

Not to mention the heads of fallen soldiers being used as ammo in "Return of the King".

But still... He didn't exactly spend that much time with either droid in any of the PT so why would he remember them anyway?

Plus he didn't lie. He never owned R2D2 or C3P0 and only C3P0 had his memory erased.

Hayden is the most lifeless actor I've ever seen. His line delivery during the Anikan/Obi-Wan fight in EP III just makes me cringe.

And you'll note he never denies knowing R2-D2. Ben only claims he never owned a droid.

Which is true. Since R2-D2 wasn't his Droid, it was Anakin Skywalker's. Technically Queen Amidala's really... at least until RotS.

I guess Anakin got R2-D2 in the Secret Dowry for their Secret Marriage. Since in TPM and AotC's he's hers.

I just called, and they said got about 6 or 7 Lithographs total for the entire store around 9a.m., and all of them are gone now... I am kinda bummed because he was gonna let me come back with my receipt and get them later... but guess I was too late. Sucks too because I was one of the first ones there! After looking at the artwork in the package, having all that artwork framed would have been awesome, especially the Darth Maul picture and the entire cast from the saga... actually, they were all pretty cool looking. I am bummed, but at least I got the Saga.
Wow, ths sucks. My store had 5 lithographs in blu ray section and about 15 near the cashier line. I expected a huge line in Hollywood, CA but from I've seen, I was the only person buying SW: Saga at 1:30 pm. I'm pretty sure all lithographs will be sold out by tomorrow.

Darth Maul litho looks awesome but my favorite one is Luke Vs Vader from Rotj.

Simply stunning.

Damn you Jumpman! Now I have to go back and re-watch the films just for the archival commentaries. Quick question, is the other commentary by Lucas just a port over from the DVDs?

Yancy
Yes. The first commentary for all the films are the existing commentaries that were on the DVDs. The new ones are comprised of interviews and actual new commentary recorded specifically for this set. It was shock to here Alec Guinness on the Episode IV commentary.

What's also interesting is to here the back and forth between young Lucas and old Lucas. You can tell, in the archival commentary, when young Lucas is speaking. The voice is more enthusiastic. Old Lucas seems more wiser, yet slightly cynical but still loves to talk about the story and the characters.

They do touch upon the changes to the films a few times in the Episodes IV and V archival commentaries.

I'm telling you, these things are gems. There's just a lot of different people on these commentaries I wasn't expecting. Hell, Ralph McQuarrie shows up quite a bit on the commentaries. As does Frank Oz. Billy Dee Williams is hilarious in his one bit.

I don't think he's really all that bad. And to quote Han Solo: "It could be worse..."

Just imagine. Shia Labouf instead. Anakin: "Gogogogo, Movemovemove!"

I just put in my first Star Wars blu-ray in - flipped through Return of the Jedi. Looks awesome!

Holy crap, did anyone listen to the NOOOOOOOO!!! in the other languages? English isn't that bad, but French is silly sounding, but Portuguese is just funny as hell. Instead of saying no, Vader does two grunts as if he's taking a crap. Spanish is not bad.

But you all have to hear Vader say NOOOOOO! in Portuguese - it's freaking funny!

It's really a strange feeling too...being all giddy like that. Up until it was in the stores I was kinda "meh" about the whole thing...having seen all the movies to death. After I picked it up I practically ran to the checkout line..3 year old in tow.
Got home, put in ANH and watched about 10 minutes of it. Very nice. Dialogue is way more "up front" now. PQ is outstanding.
Then put in Ep3. Holy SH%$!!! Surrounds and sub working OT.
Now THIS is why I upgraded my sub.
Sooo going to have a geek-ful weekend.
