Why doesn't Vader say "Yippee" when he chucks the Emperor down the shaft? That would have made the parallel from PT to OT even better IMHO. Then two mine carts could appear next to Luke and Vader and they try to ride it out of the Death Star just as it explodes just like Anakin flew out of the Droid Control Ship.

Funny, that most people appear to like the new No at the end of ROTJ, after actually seeing it in context.

Btw., watching SW from Ep.I-VI is THE way to go!

Try it, and you may find out that it miraculously works beautifully!!

This has been covered several times. It is there. I've watched it myself, and it is clearly spoken. It pans out to the front left channel as Han walks away.

Afraid not. Watched the entire Jedi blu-ray. The NO still ruins the climax of the film (and ultimately, the entire series).

And nope, Ep.I-VI order does NOT miraculously work beautifully, as Ep.I-III are still dreadfully aweful movies.

The line is 100% still there. I watched that part just last night, listening especially for the words since I had just watched that "alternate dialog" that was up a few days ago.

I swear, you guys try to start stuff up with each other. :P

Maybe on yours but not on mine. I even turned on the subtitles and still nothing. What's up with that? I wonder why mine doesn't have it? Did I maybe get a bad disc or something?

Of course, in your opinion

Where have you gotten that impression? I have heard a few people say that they don't mind the addition after seeing it in context of the film, but that's hardly "most" people and being indifferent to it is not the same as outright liking it, which I haven't seen too many people claim aside from the usual suspects.

Curious Shaft, what do you think of the Star Wars Christmas Special? I've never met a fan of it, but since you're a True Fan™, I assume you like it and think it's full of symbolism and allegory.
George Lucas is NOT in court! No Filmmaker is (except maybe Roman Polanski)... It's a sad world where consumers suddenly know more about a film than the writer/director/producer. Why must every change be defended, why even have an opinion on each and every change? Do you question each and every scene in every movie? Because most scenes are products of some kind of compromise where it could have played one or the other way... And in my opinion a guy who has single handedly created such a vast and complex narrative has earned the right to revise his work! Can't you give him that? It's his lifes work!

Let's act reasonably. That would be like saying you have John Goodman as your avatar, therefore I'll assume you have a shrine to the Rosanne show in your living room.

Hahahah, love it.

Of course you'd still need about 10 full minutes of physical slapstick, CG creatures farting, and Mr. Magoo-style antics in the midst of the Battle for Endor to bring the parallels in line.

All the accidental pwnage from Anakin and Jar Jar in the Battle for Naboo was just sickening this time around. OOPSY MEESA OOPSY grenades roll down the hill, 20 droids are taken out, OOPS MEESA CLUMSY OOOPSY he trips on a battle droid and it miraculously shoots another battle droid dead every time he shakes his leg MEESA OOPSAA OOOOOPSSS MEEEEESA BAD JUJU the tank takes out 20 droids.

Anakin WHATS THIS DO OOPS dead droids LEMME PUSH THIS BUTTON droids explode in chorus MAYBE IT'S THIS BUTTON droidekas shatter left and right.

Imagine if all the combat in all of these movies was so Jerry Lee Lewis. The Emperor would have merely tripped and fallen down the reactor shaft and there would be no argument about Vader's NOOOO.

He could say "Yippee cayee mother effer"

The Emperor could make Luke kiss his ring like Superman did to General Zod.

It has to be your audio setup. It comes from the extreme stage left. Perhaps your left front is just too low?

*edit* Too slow- Mavrick thought the same thing.
