Its funny but I hate that they turned my ultimate childhood favorite villain into something less than what he truly symbolizes.

That was the whole point of the Prequels. Vader was never who he seemed to be...and I like it that way....

Random thought I have always had:

Seeing that video, I know its at Hollywood Studios at Disney in FL.

Why have they never built and entire theme park dedicated to Star Wars?
As opposed to that crappy little area in MGM they have with Star Tours.
At least dedicate a much larger section of that movie park to it.

Just imagine- lands dedicated to different planets like Tatooine, Coruscant,
Naboo, Endor, etc. All sorts of rides and characters all day. Food.
Lucas could afford it.

Indeed. Like Kevin Smith said, this is exactly what someone like Vader would have been.

Hell, he's nowhere near as annoying as Luke is. Especially in A New Hope.

Probably because people would be whining about how "Lucas is raping their childhood" and "Milking the franchise".

Still better than crying about wanting to go to Tosche Station. Luke needed smacked by Uncle Owen.

Hell, there should have been a scene like in Airplane. Where people line up to take turns hitting him.

I imagine Eps 3, 4 and 5 being the most successful, but even then provided the Blu-Ray releases are superb, how many would be willing to see it in 3D taking into account the ticket price?

I don't know, BUT I guess the 3D releases will appeal to a new generation of kids like the 97 re-releases, with parents also having an "excuse" to see it again

BUT, in '97 tv quality (resolution, screen size etc), surround sound, widescreen etc were all shite compared to today so the appeal to go back to the cinema in '97 isn't quite the same in 2011 (I would see episodes 2, 3, 5 & 6 if they did a small run of 2D releases, just to see them on the big screen + big sound system (I myself have a 42" tv and a 5.1 system)).
Unfortunately i missed ROTJ at the cinema in 97 so i for one would want to see that most out of all the others just so i can say i have!

Yeah honestly I don't understand why people dislike Anakin so much when Luke is just a constant whiner, granted not as bad in Episode VI. Anakin didn't listen to Obi-Wan and Yoda a lot but Luke really didn't listen, even crying out for help after getting the crap kicked out of him by his father after his teachers told him not to go.

Make an application on the website, built your own personal Empire costume and have the documentation to prove that it was done by you and not a purchase item

Did you see Episodes II? He spent the whole movie whining to and about Obi-Wan.

I'm really wondering how many deleted scenes we'll get with the Prequels? From the scripts and knowing what they shot, there's still a lot left. I know we're getting stuff from the Original Trilogy but I'm more curious to see the other deleted material from the Prequels...like the scene between Obi-Wan and Padme in Episode III that's actually referenced in the film....

His whining is born out of frustrating because he feels and it's told to him repeatedly that he's the Chosen One...it's understandable.

News about Star Wars on Blu-Ray = internet implosion?

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Best Video Ever. It is silly, but don't say that to uber-Michael Jackson fan Vader. He'll force choke you.

Dream on. Of course, with my luck, Lucas will then say May 11th as the release, but I'm betting money on a release between Sept. and Dec.

I'll be back soon to see what the news is... that is, if the internet hasn't imploded yet.

I think it will blow the Alien Anthology out of the water. Especially since most of that was ported supplements.
