I couldn't wait. I'm watching Episode I right now. Been a while since I have watched the Saga.

Looks pretty damn good upconverted via the PS3. Can't wait for the Blu-Ray Set.

$90 US or $140 CDN .. Tough Call..... Pre-Order going in. I'll switch to .CA if they put a comparable price in.

I love new star wars releases but I hate how every time you can't enter a thread without every other post saying something about the unaltered original trilogy being released and people from both sides of the argument attacking each other over which version is better. We are all fans here, and there is no degree to which you are a fan. I don't consider anyone less of a fan because they like the SE or jar jar for that matter. They just like different aspects of these wonderful films. I used to frequent originaltrilogy.com so I feel the pain but sadly we probably wont see the unaltered films in hidef ever. As much as this pains me I wish George would come out and straight up say this so all this talk about it can end. At least then we would know definitively. On another note I am excited! Getting the complete saga!

So glad to finally have an official release date for Star Wars. I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that to get the bonus features you have to buy all 6 films, but I probably would have bought the prequels eventually anyway. I can't wait to see the original trilogy in HD!

It's awesome that everyone is pre-ordering now. At that price, it's a no-brainer. I can't believe we're getting all 6 movies for $15 each, or possibly even less if the price goes down.

Which movies are you guys looking forward to most? Personally I can't wait to watch III (Revenge...Sith) and V (Empire).

I will be buying all 6 films of the star wars saga on amazon come the end of august. I am super super excited for this release. As long as the color timeming and the episode 4 sound issues are address I will be happy. And I like all 6 films not just the ot.

I agree. Episode III will look amazing. And I'm hoping that Episode V will also be amazing. Hoping that he will do Special and Original on one disc... kind of like close encounters.
