To each their own, but I think the romance in Attack of the Clones is just as bad as the other films you listed.

Disney released The Boatnicks and Monkeys Go Home on Blu-Ray, so I'd say it's more likely than not.

The Anakin and Padme's romance is ON PAR with Twitlight and Fifty Shades. I have no idea what's Old Fashioned.

Any help would be appreciated....I know that the clone wars animated series from 08-14 is canon, but dark horse comics did multiple clone wars series, and the only thing canonized from that is the Darth Maul "Death Sentence" mini series that takes place during the clone wars. Is that correct? Thx

^ that's all fine, and he brings up some interesting points, but it's all moot when your conduit for these repressed feelings and romantic angst is Hayden Christensen.

Someone actually said this:
Quote:
"Feel free to love the Prequel Trilogy all you want. But if you think they’re well made movies, you’re objectively wrong."
In one sentence he's saying that someone is allowed to have an opinion, but in the next he's saying that opinions are pointless.

Nobody can turn to the dark side without having angst.

ALL Sith are emo.

Not criticizing the angst, I'm criticizing the performance. I like AotC/the Prequels, but Christensen is horrid in AotC. The writing ain't great either, but somehow the others actors made do without being as cringeworthy as him.

And getting stabbed in the face makes getting punched in the face look like a peck on the cheek.

What's our point?

Well when someone makes stupid comment like a person is objectively wrong and doesn't understand how to respect opinions and realize at the end of the day it is just a opinion which is completely subjective that is when you ignore the user immeadiatley no point in even discussing things further in a way I see why the IMDB shut down the message boards to many trolls and idiots who ruined a fun place to talk about movies

Actually, as far as I know that is "Legends" ( not Disney-canon ).

The new-canon comic featuring Maul is Son of Dathomir.

Well, anyone can like anything, but that doesn't mean it's universally good. A good question to ask is, would you like it if the only difference was, it wasn't in the Star Wars universe?

I think there are universally known bad movies out there. Some people like them because they like that kind of thing, or don't have high standards. It's those that have low standards that like the utter gunk at the bottom of the sewer that worry me.

Selfish, yes. Palpatine and Maul didn't seem particularly emo

The romance scenes between Anakin and Padme in Attack of the Clones are about on par writing and acting-wise with a Jr. High school play. The idea to me that Lucas shot these scenes for a new giant Star Wars movie and thought they were fine baffles me to this day. I mean, all the writing and acting in the prequels comes off very stiff and perfunctory, but those scenes in Clones are the worst moments in the trilogy by far, IMO.

There are the worst scenes in the 8 films thus far.

Nah, the worst scene is still that "You're so beautiful" balcony scene in RotS.
